About the Author
J.P. Nickles is the creator of the Sparkle Valley series. He is a graduate of Brasenose College, Oxford, and holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Virginia, where he studied under philosopher Richard Rorty.
Sparkle Valley started as a story for his daughter when she entered middle school. Over the next decade, this personal gift grew into a much larger exploration of imagination and growing up. Today, the books are accompanied by essays exploring the ideas and philosophy behind the series.
